Thank you for sending such interesting artifacts to school, everyone loved exploring, questioning, and sharing a piece of their families history. Unfortunately Ms. Heagy will be away until further notice due to a family emergency. FYI April 15: Ms. Heagy is away for a family emergency until further notice April 20&22 - No School: Good Friday April 25th- Volunteer Tea @ 2:30 April 29th- Fun Lunch: TBA Our Learning: We shared our family artifacts through a 'museum' tour, and picked an artifact that made us curious. We sketched the artifact, and wrote down 'thick' questions such as "How .... I wonder... and why....". We then interviewed the owner of the artifact, and recorded what we learned. Dear Parents, Delving into the past in Social Studies, we are excited to share our artifacts tomorrow! We are learning how to develop good questions (thick questions) to help us find information- which will help us out when it comes time to do some research later on.
